This site contains the results of my English 510 Consolidation Activity. The site includes two lessons for the learner: one reading lesson and one listening lesson. The "Student Link" to the left will take you there. Also included on the left are links to the scheme or flowchart of the activities in the lesson and my reflection on the Englsih 510 assignment.
Learning Objectives
After the reading activity, students will:
- Be familiar with the concept and culture of Dadaism
- Be able to define 5 new vocabulary words related to Dadaism and its art form
- Have had more practice in reading comprehension skills
After the listening activity, students will:
- Be familiar with the concept of gift giving in the United States
- Understand when the appropriate time is for giving gifts
- Have had more practice in listening skills
